"La curva, esa es la cosa..."
This ongoing project documents the restoration and historic racing efforts of a Porsche 934 Turbo RSR by Bill Kincaid of La Curva Motorsport. Exceptionally rare even when they were new, only 31 were built for FIA Group 4 racing homologation for the 1976 season. This particular example has a storied race history, including the 1980 24 Hours of Le Mans and campaigns in Puerto Rico under Mandy González and Diego Febles. It represents the end of the era of road-legal full-fledged race cars that would ever be produced by Porsche. Already resplendent in its unique "hellgelb" glow and Puerto Rico livery, the car appears in period Group 4 spec as it raced at Le Mans. The car made its historic racing debut at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion in 2015 and again in 2017, and has since raced at Rennsport Reunion V and VI.
